The Residential Nurse position is a valuable part of the Residential Treatment Team at Serenity Haven residential facility. 3. Works with patient to problem solve barriers to wellness and self-administering medications as directed by the prescriber. Provides oversite of patient medical medical issues consulting with the DON and Medical Director as needed.
4. Assists the patient in medication set up and educates the patient on administering of medication to prevent medication errors.
5. Ensures proper storage and tracking off medication with accreditation standards and best practice models.
6. Assists the psychiatrist is assessing the patient and follow up the medication checks.
7. Conducts observed urine drug screens.
8. Collaborates and coordinates care with treatment team regarding wellness of patient.
9. Maintains patient documentation within the patient record and submits billing of services in a timely manner.

Position: Dual Diagnosis Therapist

The dual counselor is responsible for oversite of a caseload specific to their program site and population served within that program. The dual counselor conducts assessments rendering a diagnosis and treatment recommendations for their client caseload and develops treatment goals in collaboration with the client. Additionally, the dual counselor is responsible for the provision of individual counseling and group counseling that is specific to their site. 1. Conducts a dual diagnosis assessment on clients and provides appropriate treatment recommendations based on client needs.
2. Develops treatment goals in collaboration with the client and reviews treatment goals while collaborating with the client as accreditation standards require.
3. Engages the client in and facilitates individual, group and family counseling services in accordance with ethical standards.
4. Maintains documentation that meets medical necessity and accurately reflects the client’s engagement with service providers. Ensures documentation is entered into the medical record in a manner that is timely and in accordance with ethical and accreditation standards.
5. Completes and submits billing for services in a manner that is timely and ethical.
6. Participates in site clinical stafing times and appropriately reviews assessment findings and recommendations with site supervisors.
7. Maintains state licensure and/or certification. Conducts timely renewal to ensure there is not a lapse in licensure and/or certification.
8. Follows policy and procedures and workflows of Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio. Actively seeks out supervision of site supervisor when there are questions related to policy and procedures and workflows.
9. Meets productivity standard.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Will be a LSW, LPC, MFT through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapy Board – or – Will be licensed as a LCDC 2 or LCDC 3 through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.
2. Will possess a bachelor’s degree in social work or other helping profession that is eligible for licensure. May possess a master’s degree in social work, counseling or other helping profession that is eligible for licensure.
3. Possess training and experience within the substance use and mental health field.
