Position: Counselor 1, Outpatient Treatment

The dual counselor is responsible for oversite of a caseload specific to their program site and population served within that program. The dual counselor conducts assessments rendering a diagnosis and treatment recommendations for their client caseload and develops treatment goals in collaboration with the client. Additionally, the dual counselor is responsible for the provision of individual counseling and group counseling that is specific to their site. Finally, the dual counselor takes on a lead role in collaborating care with other providers and the RSNWO treatment team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conducts a dual diagnosis assessment on clients and provides appropriate treatment recommendations based on client needs.
2. Develops treatment goals in collaboration with the client and reviews treatment goals while collaborating with the client as accreditation standards require.
3. Engages the client in and facilitates individual, group and family counseling services in accordance with ethical standards.
4. Maintains documentation that meets medical necessity and accurately reflects the client’s engagement with service providers. Ensures documentation is entered into the medical record in a manner that is timely and in accordance with ethical and accreditation standards.
5. Completes and submits billing for services in a manner that is timely and ethical.
6. Participates in site clinical staffing times and appropriately reviews assessment findings and recommendations with site supervisors.
7. Maintains state licensure and/or certification. Conducts timely renewal to ensure there is not a lapse in licensure and/or certification.
8. Follows policy and procedures and workflows of Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio. Actively seeks out supervision of site supervisor when there are questions related to policy and procedures and workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:

The Behavioral Health Technician position is a valuable part of the Serenity Haven Team. The Residential Assistant Supervisor position is a new position that is responsible for assisting the Residential Director in the oversite and management of the residential facility and day-to-day residential functions. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Training, oversight and supervision of Behavioral Health Technicians.
2. Assists the Residential Director in ensuring quality services are rendered to clients that are consistent with staff scope of practice and best practice models.
3. Assists with the day to day documentation and billing functions by signing off on lower level credential staff members and ensuring timely completion of documentation.
4. Works with insurance companies on the completion of prior authorizations and other required insurance functions to ensure timely payment for services.
5. Assists with facility oversite and reconciling day to day issues that arise.
6. Conducts oversite of the physical residential building by completing a daily walk thru to ensure the physical safety of the building.
7. Attends and participates in agency in-service meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

Position: Certified Medical Assistant

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Administaer injections, prepare drug samples, give medications, call meds to pharmacies, and provide other health care services to clients as necessary.
2. Act as liaison to refer consumers to other medical facilities for services and/or communicate needed services to case manager.
3. Document physician orders.
4. Maintain supply logs of pharmaceutical samples.
5. Review schedules and insure that charts and medications are set up for physician as needed..
