Driver Intervention Program: Court-referred driver education

The 72-Hour Driver Intervention Program (DIP) is a residential program for OVI offenders administered through Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio. The program educates individuals about the physical, psychological and social effects of alcohol and drug use and is designed to reduce the risk of future alcohol and drug abuse arrests. The 72 Hour Driver Intervention Program also identifies persons who require further treatment and refer them to the appropriate treatment avenue. The program is certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.
